General Purpose and Scope of the position:
These positions are part‑time, temporary positions filled each semester on an as‑needed basis.
Responsibilities include assisting Program Chair in special projects and/or Faculty in agriculture business or horticulture labs; setting up lab equipment; equipment maintenance; and clean‑up after labs and as needed.
Enrolled as an agriculture student at Ivy Tech Lafayette campus. Computer literate with good Excel knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience operating and maintaining agriculture equipment. Familiar with horticulture equipment and green house operations.
Other Requirements:Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview. Original transcripts will be required at time of hire. Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre‑employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
