We seek a dedicated Early Childhood Dedicated Substitute to join our team for the school year. This role involves substitute teaching in a warm, child-centered environment while incorporating Jewish values, traditions, and celebrations into daily learning. Teachers build strong partnerships with families and foster children's holistic development—physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual.
Key Responsibilities- Take over instruction for teachers in their absence.
- Rotate through early childhood classrooms as needed to support teachers and children.
- Foster independence, creativity, and problem-solving in young learners.
- Provide warm, responsive care tailored to individual needs.
- Incorporate Jewish traditions, holidays, and values into the classroom experience.
- Collaborate professionally with co-workers and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Degree or certification in early childhood education or related field (experience may substitute for a degree in some cases).
- Strong understanding of child development and best practices.
- Familiarity with Texas Minimum Standards and NAEYC Accreditation Criteria.
- Passion for Jewish education and early childhood learning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds, sit and stand for extended periods, and kneel on the carpet.
