As a Student Wellbeing Coach, you'll be embedded in a partner school, helping students build resilience, supporting educators, and strengthening school culture through evidence-informed social-emotional wellness programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual and small-group coaching using CHADS' Social Emotional Well-Being curriculum.
  • Deliver targeted social-emotional learning interventions.
  • Support educators with classroom strategies that promote engagement, emotional regulation, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with administrators, counselors, and support teams to address student needs.
  • Participate in student support and behavioral care team meetings.
  • Engage parents and caregivers with resources and education.
  • Facilitate staff training on student mental health and well-being.
  • Maintain program fidelity, documentation, and outcome reporting.
  • Meet performance goals and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
  • Represent CHADS professionally within schools and the community.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with youth in educational, behavioral health, or youth development settings.
  • Experience supporting social-emotional learning or youth development.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to facilitate individual and group interventions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in K–12 schools.
  • Experience delivering professional development to educators.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, youth mental health, and suicide prevention.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams.

This is a full-time, 9-month, school-based position that follows the academic calendar. Hours align with the school day, with occasional evening events, trainings, or family engagement activities. Some local travel may be required.

Starting Salary: $35,880+, based on experience
