Wage: starting at $16.85 per hour

Job Description:

Must be reliable and enjoy working with children (K-12) in a classroom setting. Responsibilities:

• Grading student classwork homework
• Organizing your students' files with work in date order
• Observing students and administering worksheets according to the Kumon Method
• Read aloud with Reading students and count with Math students
• Communicate with Parents and other staff
• Work in a friendly, team environment to help make the class a success
• Other tasks as needed

Class hours are:

• Monday 3:00-6:00 pm
• Thursday 3:00-6:00 pm

Requirements:

• Strong Math and Reading skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children
• Prompt and reliable
• Participation in training sessions
• Detail-oriented, energetic, and proactive
• Commitment to making a difference in the community and believing that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence
• Prior Kumon experience preferred
