Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid and current California Educational Specialist credential required
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a school setting
• Deep understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiation strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Dedication to advocating for students and fostering a positive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
• Deliver engaging instruction that aligns with curriculum standards and specialized requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent student support
• Track student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and encourages student growth
• Participate in faculty meetings, IEP sessions, and ongoing professional development
