Qualifications &
Experience:
- Valid and current California Educational Specialist credential required
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a school setting
- Deep understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiation strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to advocating for students and fostering a positive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique strengths and needs
- Deliver engaging instruction that aligns with curriculum standards and specialized requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent student support
- Track student progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
- Foster a safe, supportive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and encourages student growth
- Participate in faculty meetings, IEP sessions, and ongoing professional development
This contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule at a single, supportive school site, allowing you to focus your passion and expertise where it matters most.
