DESCRIPTION: The Educational Technology Integration Lead supports teachers as the site-based leader for instructional technology, troubleshooting issues and building staff capacity to use digital tools purposefully to enhance instruction, engagement, and student learning. (See Description)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Valid California Credential
- Demonstrated proficiency with district-adopted EdTech tools
- Desired: experience with teacher support and workshop facilitation

JOB DESCRIPTION
Background
Educational technology is a core component of teaching and learning in CVUHSD. To sustain and deepen effective implementation, the Educational Technology Integration Lead serves as the site-based leader for instructional technology integration. This role provides embedded support to teachers, including troubleshooting technology issues and building staff capacity in the purposeful use of digital tools to strengthen instruction, increase student engagement, and improve learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
EdTech Integration Leads will
- Participate in summer planning sessions and required trainings to prepare for the upcoming school year
- Attend and actively contribute to monthly, after school, district Educational Technology Integration Lead meetings
- Provide timely support to teachers, including limited support outside the regular school day as needed
- Model effective and instructionally sound use of district-adopted educational technology tools and services
- Open classrooms for peer observation to demonstrate effective digital learning practices
- Design and deliver demonstration lessons that highlight purposeful technology integration
- Facilitate professional learning sessions
as needed - Collaborate with site administration and instructional teams to advance district and school wide educational technology goals
- Maintain proficiency in all district-adopted technology platforms and instructional tools
- Perform other duties related to educational technology integration as assigned
Qualifications
EdTech Integration Leads should be teachers who are
- Regularly integrating district adopted educational technology into classroom instruction in purposeful and effective ways
- Comfortable assisting colleagues with technology and leading workshops or demonstrations
- Self-directed and reflective, willing to experiment with new strategies and improve based on outcomes
- Continuously learning and explore emerging educational technology and Artificial Intelligence tools and practices
- Collaborative, open to giving and receiving constructive feedback, and willing to share resources and ideas
- Committed to following through on projects to completion, demonstrating persistence and accountability
