ELA Teacher in Napoleonville, LA

• Current Louisiana Teaching License or Certification, including relevant ESL endorsements
• Background teaching ELA, general education, or related areas in a K-12 setting
• Experience developing lesson plans and adapting instruction for English language learners
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient approach
• Cultural empathy and a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion
• Comfortable working full-time onsite—remote/virtual options are not available

• Develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of English learners
• Use creative teaching methods and resources to promote student engagement and language development
• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments
• Foster a classroom environment that supports language acquisition and intercultural understanding
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Fulfill documentation, reporting, and compliance related to EL education
