Job DescriptionBus Aide — Part-Time
Position Summary: The Bus Aide assists the bus driver in safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.
Position Details:
- Part-Time: 3 hours per day
- Pay: $16.75 per hour
- Benefits: No benefits provided
Essential Duties:
- Help students safely get on and off the bus.
- Monitor students during the bus ride and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
- Assist students who may need extra help or support.
- Follow school and transportation safety rules.
- Communicate with the bus driver and school staff regarding student needs or concerns.
- Help ensure students remain seated and follow bus rules.
- Report any safety, behavior, or student concerns to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
- Enjoys working with children and students.
- Patient, dependable, and responsible.
- Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Able to follow safety procedures and directions.
- Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required.
