This position will be located at Fort Leonard Wood (316 Missouri Ave, Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473) Candidates will need to be on-site one day per week (excluding Friday) from 5:0 PM - 9:0 PM Central Standard Time (CST)
CourseIntroduction to Information Technology This course provides an introduction to the role of computing technology within business and corporate environments. Introductions to concepts, terminologies, and a wide use of relevant daily software and tools relevant to any career in the information technology field.
Topics includeTechnology-integrated academics, digital networking concepts, systems administration and maintenance, information security, database and transactional systems, cloud technologies, scripting, and project management.
What You Will Do- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Masters (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 2-5 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organizations. All instructors must have skills in latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures. Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA):
Windows Server. - OR
- Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 7-10 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organization. All instructors must have skills in the latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures. Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA):
