- Manage training and development activities for the sales area, focusing on policy and strategy implementation
- Organize, plan and execute all aspects of training for US Coronary field-based employees
- Coordinate with the Training Team to ensure consistency of training content and field co-travel
- Manage and make recommendations for New Hire Training, Strategic Selling and Training Program budgets
- Assess employee skills, talents, performance and productivity and prepare written evaluations
- Administer and execute training programs
- Develop and maintain content for Coronary learning platforms
- Oversee training on product understanding, sales strategies and tactics, internal processes, Salesforce and Power BI
- Research new training materials and programs
- Oversee new-hire onboarding and assignment to training sessions
- Review new-hire selling skills and knowledge and recommend corrective measures
- Identify future training needs and create curricula
- Communicate with the Training Director and Area Vice Presidents to identify and meet training needs
- Maintain repositories of competency measures and certification results, and report to management
- Recommend skill development, performance improvement and career path development
- Identify gaps in training materials and content
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Contracts and Pricing, Area Vice Presidents and Field Sales Trainers on training, content, development, new product information and launches
- Ensure field sales teams are certified on training programs
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Organizational Development preferred, but not required)
- 5+ years of experience in Medical or Diagnostics Sales
- Previous people management experience strongly desired
- Demonstrated excellence in leadership, organization, communication and team building skills
- Experience designing and administrating learning management systems
- Minimum 4 years field coaching experience preferred
- 2+ years training experience preferred
- Experience designing and implementing training curricula preferred
- Delivering effective virtual and in-person training experience preferred
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time
Demonstrates expertise in training program management, curriculum development, and employee performance assessment within the medical sales domain. Proficient in utilizing learning management systems and delivering effective training experiences both virtually and in-person.
