Part-time Faculty, University Support Provider - Bilingual Authorization

Compensation

Hourly: $26.63 - $28.89 (range may vary based on experience).

The Department of Teacher Education in the Sanford College of Education invites part‑time faculty with a bilingual authorization to join as a University Support Provider. The role supports course delivery, student success, and quality assurance under the guidance of the Academic Program Director and faculty.

• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessments.
• Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student‑centric learning environment.
• Complete required tasks by deadlines (final grades, rubrics, grade appeals, etc.).
• Engage in professional training and/or scholarly activities as applicable.
• Provide course‑lead feedback on course content.
• Identify at‑risk students and collaborate with student services.

Required:

• Master’s degree in Education.
• Active California teacher credential (CTC) and face‑to‑face experience in California.
• Multiple‑subject or single‑subject credential in science, social science, English, PE, art, music, or business.
• Bilingual Authorization in Spanish (BCLAD).

Preferred:

• Three years of higher‑education teaching experience.

• Statement of teaching experience with diverse student body (online and/or onsite).
