Expression of Interest Learning Areasmayincludebut not limitedto:
  • English Maths Science(eg:Biology, Chemistry, Physics etc.)
  • Humanities(eg:Individuals, Societies) Learning Strategies Commerce Physical and Health Education Arts, Theatre,Dance, Music Design and Technology (eg:Food, Textiles, ITetc.) Languages (eg:Chinese, German, French)
Key Duties
  • Evaluate students' skills tocreate a flexible, individualised curriculum indesiredfieldthat addresses their specific needs andgoals.
  • Implement learning programs based on research into how students learn, using formative assessment techniques to adjust instruction and enhance engagement and understanding.
  • Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
  • Develop student-centred activities that promote exploration and innovation in product design, encouraging practical application of theoretical knowledge.
  • Sethighexpectationsto create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
  • Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School valuesandbehaviours.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experienceteachingfrom Year 7 to 12, with experience in VCE an advantage
  • Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and personal growth
  • Excellentcommunicationskills,the ability to explain your subjectareaandconcepts effectively and engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up to date withcurrentteachingtrendsandmaintainingaproactive attitude.
  • Holds a Teaching Qualification and specialised qualifications and experience in area of expertise
