Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery and growth of Next 150 Construction's self-perform and craft training and development initiatives.
  • Coordinates and facilitates technical training programs tailored to field leadership teams and craft labor workforce (union and non-union) teams to increase workforce competency and readiness.
  • Facilitate NCCER training, testing, and performance verification activities within assigned credentials and authorizations.
  • Help participants connect classroom learning, On-the-Job Learning (OJL), skill development, and workforce qualification requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees with hires with foundational technical training, testing readiness, and program completion activities.
  • Support development and maintenance of training materials by function as a subject-matter-expert to the GBC instructional designers.
  • Partner with craft professionals, safety team, mentors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure training content remains accurate, practical, and relevant to field operations.
  • Provide classroom and field-based instruction for project, field, and craft employees.
  • Support qualification programs, equipment qualification initiatives, and workforce readiness activities.
  • Support the expansion of training and workforce development into additional crafts and project locations.
  • Maintain training records, documentation, qualification records, testing records, and other required training documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Travel to project locations as needed to support, workforce development, and training program delivery.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in HSE or Construction; journey-level craft experience or military experience in lieu of associate's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or technical training in an industrial, military, or project-based environment.
  • 5+ years of experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or facilitating adult learners.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting apprenticeship programs or workforce development initiatives.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing technical training materials or project-based training experiences.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ to support project and workforce development needs.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Human Resource Development, or HSE;
    Journey-level craft experience or military experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training credentials.
  • NCCER Instructor Certification preferred.
  • NCCER Proctor, Evaluator, Performance Verifier, APE, or CPE credentials preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
