Salary $1,000-1,250 monthly based on completed credit hours
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology;
- Working on master’s degree in Geology.
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Learn new skills as necessary.
- Comfortably with using Microsoft Office software.
- Have excellent communication skills, attention to details, and be solution oriented.
- Have a positive professional manner.
- Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.
- Teach laboratories for Geology courses.
- Hold office hours, prep labs, teach undergraduate sections of labs, administer lab practicals, and evaluate student outcomes on labs and practicals.
- Coordinate with a faculty mentor who will guide and direct lab activities.
- Drive university vehicles on field trips.
- Monitor the safety of others and practice personal safety; exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
Security Sensitive: This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants.

The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
