Special Education Teacher (Early Learning Center Preschool) - St. Louis, MONow Hiring:
Special Education Teachers We are partnering with a school district in St. Louis seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support preschool-aged students in an Early Learning Center setting.
Position Details
Location:
St. Louis, MO
Start Date:
August 17, 2026
Contract Length: 9 Months
Schedule:
8:35 AM - 4:05 PM with 30-minute lunch
Hours:
37.5 hours per week Openings: 3
Responsibilities Manage classrooms serving students ages 3-5
Provide special education instruction and support
Develop and maintain IEPs for a caseload of 20+ students
Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and support staff
Address behavioral and developmental needs
Participate in parent meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Requirements
Missouri DESE Special Education Certification (Birth-Grade
3) required
Experience writing and implementing IEPsStrong classroom management and collaboration skills
Preschool special education experience preferred
