Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a School Psychologist, supporting education and growth in the Florissant, MO area. This assignment runs from ASAP to May 28, 2027, with the flexibility to consider full-time, part-time, or short-term arrangements to best fit your schedule and preferences. You’ll primarily work on-site, most likely across two schools, and play an essential role in evaluating and supporting K-12 students through the Child Find process and special education assessments.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid and active Missouri Department of Education (DOE) School Psychologist certification
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings
• Background in Child Find procedures and special education evaluations
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple assessment cases (typical caseload: 8-10 cases; average of 32 completed per year for full-time)
• Compliance with district pre-employment requirements, including fingerprinting (TCN number submission) and completion of a technology use form

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site psychological assessments, consultations, and eligibility determinations for K-12 students
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to facilitate a positive learning environment
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of all evaluations and services as required by the district
• Offer recommendations for academic and behavioral supports to help each student thrive
