QualificationsList on application experience that is relevant to this position in addition to providing the required documentation listed in this vacancy. Instructional Assistant IIIs support our severe/emotionally disturbed students. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties. Severe/Emotionally Disturbed - working with students who have a Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
Students designated as an emotionally disturbed (ED) class or an autism class or assigned to a Behaviorist to assist individual students. Experience working with groups of children; experience working with impaired children or adults highly desirable; coursework in child development highly desirable. * In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license*
