Artur Express, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist for a full-time, on-site role based in Hazelwood, MO. As a Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety programs, conducting safety training sessions, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations. Key duties include monitoring drivers’ adherence to safety requirements, investigating incidents, analyzing safety data, and working collaboratively to enhance workplace safety practices.

You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and compliance standards related to transportation and logistics
• Experience in conducting safety training, incident investigations, and auditing safety programs
• Analytical skills for assessing safety data and trends, ability to create action plans to mitigate risks
• Excellent verbal and written communication for reporting, training, and collaborating with teams
• Proven organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in using technology and safety management software systems
• Preferred qualifications include a degree in Occupational Safety, Transportation, or a related field, and certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar
• Ability to work on-site in Hazelwood, MO, with a hands-on approach to safety procedures
