Job Title: GE-Certified Wind Turbine Technician – Installation, Commissioning & Service (Travel Role)
Location: Nationwide travel across the USA & Canada
Employment Type: Full-time

We’re hiring experienced GE-certified Wind Turbine Technicians – including installation technicians, commissioning technicians, and LOTO-certified techs – to join our traveling teams. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge GE wind turbines
, support wind farm construction, and ensure safe, reliable operation of renewable energy assets across North America.
Travel to wind farms for installation, commissioning, and maintenance work.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test GE wind turbine systems
.Follow GE procedures, OEM standards, and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Assist with tower assembly, nacelle installation, and hub work during new builds.
Complete accurate documentation (commissioning records, service reports, timesheets).
Operate company vehicles safely.
Work at height and in all weather conditions.
Level 1 – Complete GE Tech Essentials LOTO Training, GE Turbine Fundamentals Training, assist in nacelle/hub tasks under Level 2 guidance.
Level 2 – All Level 1 tasks plus GE Converter Fundamentals Training, assist Level 3 with tower troubleshooting.
Level 3 – Lead installation, commissioning, or service activities; complete GE Advanced Troubleshooting & SCADA Training; troubleshoot during reliability testing.
Required QualificationsGE turbine certification (Tech 1, 2, or
3) – installation experience highly valued.High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (last 5 years).
Ability to climb up to 300 ft and lift 50 lbs.
Proficiency with basic power tools and Microsoft Office.
Current wind technician safety certifications:
Tower Rescue, CPR, First Aid, AED, OSHA 10, Competent Climber, Confined Space, Working at Heights, NFPA 70, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).GWO certifications and additional OEM training preferred.
