Turbine Maintenance Supervisor

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct employees and contractors engaged in turbine-generator maintenance, repair, inspection, overhaul, and reliability improvement
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership for planned outages, emergent repairs, predictive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership and accountability
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and applicable regulations
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and safety improvement initiatives
• Conduct field observations, safety meetings, and employee coaching
• Plan, coordinate, assign, and monitor daily work activities
• Oversee maintenance and repair of turbines, generators, pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, and auxiliary systems
• Monitor equipment performance and improve reliability and availability
• Coordinate planned outages and emergent repairs, including scopes, schedules, resource plans, and contractor requirements
• Monitor outage performance against safety, schedule, quality, and budget expectations
• Direct contractor and vendor activities and evaluate contractor performance
• Manage O&M expenses and maintenance budgets; forecast labor, materials, and contractor requirements
• Provide coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and training opportunities
• Implement RCA, HPI, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvements
• Travel up to 50%

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) years of power generation, industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical maintenance, or related experience
• Experience leading maintenance activities in a power generation, industrial, manufacturing, refinery, pulp and paper, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environment
• Experience with turbine-generator maintenance, outages, or major equipment overhauls
• Demonstrated leadership, crew coordination, or supervisory experience
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred
• Steam turbine or combustion turbine maintenance experience preferred
• Combined cycle generation experience preferred
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent certification preferred
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, alignment, precision maintenance, and predictive maintenance technologies preferred
• Experience managing large outage contractors and major capital projects preferred
• Lean Six Sigma, RCA, or Human Performance Improvement training preferred
• Must maintain required qualifications and certifications

Demonstrates expertise in turbine-generator maintenance, outage management, and safety compliance while leading teams in a power generation or industrial environment. Proficient in implementing process improvements and managing maintenance budgets to enhance operational efficiency.
