BBI-Design and Analysis Engineer -Electronic Sys Design & Analy

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Systems) for a prominent client. This position is located in Hazelwood, MO. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay: $67.50-$73.02/hour

Shift: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12-months to start – potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget.

• Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
• Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Makes recommendations for technology investments.

Bachelor of Science in engineering or related required
.

9+ years of experience (or educational equivalency) with avionics system design required
.

Knowledge of VPX/VME form factor required
.

Must be knowledgeable of RS422/RS232, PC104, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IEEE-488 and MIL-STD-1553 standards.

Experience with product/systems development and integration required
.

Cyber security knowledge and/or experience is a plus.

Network design is preferred.

Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) is preferred.
