At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.

Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a hardworking team of engineers and technicians, you will build, integrate, test and operate the New Glenn Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) labs we utilize to verify the performance of our avionics and electrical ground support equipment on New Glenn. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of the HIL development and its use as an operational verification tool.

As an integration technician, you will own the assembly of HIL electrical and mechanical systems using engineering drawings and process documents. You will need to be able to build, inspect, test and rework cable assemblies. You will need to perform checkout and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies. You will need to be able to load software and drivers onto computers and instruments.

You will help to maintain a clean and orderly lab environment. You should be able to redline and update HIL documentation and drawings.

To be successful you will have to support the integration of flight avionics, ground support equipment, control consoles, and communication hardware in the HIL. You will also support integrated system tests in the HIL to perform flight software qualification and operator training. You must be able to modify the HIL configuration for system or subsystem level testing per engineering test procedures.
