Computer Aided Design Technician

Akkodis is seeking a CAD Design Technician for 12 month Contract job with a client in Chesterfield, MO (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the Pharma industry is a must.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $52/hour

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• The CAD Design Technician uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models for engineering and manufacturing projects.
• This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical design principles, and manufacturing processes.

• This individual works in conjunction with the Electrical Engineer and is Responsible for detailed design and documentation of electrical power and control wiring, instrumentation loops, electrical schematics, cable tray layouts, instrumentation and electrical details, and cable schedules.
• 7+ years of CAD design/drafting experience, with a good background in power and control system design.
• Limited travel may be required with project teams.
• Estimated travel? 25%.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Driving will only be required for sporadic field visits.
• Most of the work is local to Chesterfield. When travel is required for a field visit, we have a fleet of leased vehicles that can be checked out for the trip.
• Most of our sites are in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa.
