Position OverviewWe are seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge and structural design who can work independently or collaboratively on a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful work across the region while growing your career in a dynamic and inclusive setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for bridges and related transportation structures.
- Prepare design calculations, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with regional structural teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and DOT guidelines.
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE license in Arkansas, Mississippi, or Louisiana – or ability to obtain within one year.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in bridge design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Open Bridge Designer, Merlin, CSI Bridge, or similar.
- Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD and DOT design standards.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
