Responsibilities- Design, develop, and analyze mechanical components and systems for heavy industrial equipment.
- Complete concept development, 3D modeling, and detailed design using Solid Works or similar CAD software.
- Support customers, sales, and marketing teams by providing engineered solutions to industrial challenges.
- Perform engineering change requests and maintain design documentation.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic teams on system integration and product development.
- Develop bills of material (BOMs), production routings, inspection documentation, and work instructions.
- Provide hands‑on installation support and troubleshooting for new and existing mechanical designs.
- Coordinate outsourced activities related to fabrication and new product development.
- Perform new product cost estimating, re-costing of existing products, and technical quoting support.
- Support manufacturing by sourcing components and providing technical expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and production processes.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with company engineering standards and procedures.
- Conduct business with professionalism, integrity, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software such as Solid Works.
- Education and/or experience with heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or automotive systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity software.
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
