Product Manager – Overhead High Voltage Switchgear

Mac Lean Power Systems (MPS) is a leading manufacturer of mission‑critical and engineered components for the electric utility, telecommunications, and civil markets.

• Oversee the implementation of technical product solutions for clients and customers.
• Regularly interface with end users to understand necessary product requirements and price levels.
• Build and implement go‑to‑market marketing and pricing strategies.
• Build and execute product line roadmaps to achieve fiscal performance.
• Work with customers, sales, applications, and design engineers to deliver products to customers’ expectations.
• Maintain expert level knowledge of overhead high voltage switch gear and ensure that adaptations to applications provide solutions to users’ needs.
• Help review and recommend changes in product design that align with the organization’s goals.
• Help ensure adequate technology is in place and utilized to meet internal and client needs.
• Make certain that all reported issues are resolved in relation to organizational standards.
• May develop policies for providing technical training to clients or internal users.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies, and procedures.

• Comprehensive knowledge of overhead powerline concepts and principles.
• Experience in the electrical utility industry is preferred.
• Experience with IEEE C37.30 and GO.95 design and construction standards is a plus.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least 6 years of experience.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of other employees with authority for personnel decisions.
• Ability to perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
• Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures that may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
• MBA highly preferred with commercial experience.
