Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Luis Obispo, CA (Hybrid Telework)
Salary: $11,437.00 – $14,315.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable.

DutiesManage the Site Cleanup Program, applying geological knowledge and technical expertise to lead cleanup projects that restore water quality and protect human health.
Qualifications- Professional Geologist (PG) license.
- List, transfer, or reinstatement eligibility as a Senior Engineering Geologist.
- Proficiency in environmental investigation and remediation.
- Experience with state and federal water quality laws, regulations, and policies (e.g., California Water Code, CERCLA).
- Knowledge of groundwater fate and transport modeling and associated remediation techniques.
- Ability to review and write technical reports.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with environmental geology, water quality analytical chemistry, and geochemistry.
- Familiarity with regional water quality issues and basin plans.
- Skill in setting program goals, tracking budgets, and using Microsoft Office and database management systems.
