Professional Land Surveyor; PLS Missouri

The Clayton Engineering Company is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. This role focuses on technical surveying work, project execution, and professional oversight, working closely with engineers, project managers, survey field crew, and drafters.

• Perform and oversee professional surveying services including boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Prepare and review legal descriptions, plats, and survey reports.
• Analyze field data and ensure survey accuracy.
• Coordinate with field crews and office staff.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri surveying standards and regulations.
• Sign and seal survey documents as required.

• Missouri Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License required.
• Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD and Trimble (or other survey data systems) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 annually.
