Job Title: District Structural Engineer
Classification: $12,562.00 - $15,724.00 per Month
Location: Alameda County, California
Telework: Hybrid, up to two days per week
Work Shift: 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Under the general direction of the Supervising Structural Engineer, the District Structural Engineer is responsible for field supervision of state‑owned school construction sites, public K‑12 and community college buildings, and for performing complex structural engineering work related to quality and code compliance, including supervision of inspection and required testing of building structure standards in accordance with Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations and the Division of the State Architect (DSA).
Key Responsibilities- Supervise construction sites for school and community college building projects.
- Ensure compliance with structural engineering standards, including Title 24 and DSA regulations.
- Oversee inspection and testing of building structures.
- Participate in governmental decisions that may affect personal financial interests and complete required Form 700 annually.
- Travel to project locations as needed.
- Valid California Structural Engineer license.
- Valid California Driver’s License (CDL).
- Medical clearance prior to hire.
