A 12‑week summer internship focused on product design, testing, quality, and manufacturing within a leading global manufacturing company. Interns work with a Senior Engineer and the Engineering & Quality team to support projects such as warranty/root‑cause analysis, process control analytics, new product testing, hydrostatic burst testing, and grain analysis.
Responsibilities- Assist with warranty/root‑cause analysis and process control analytics and implementation.
- Support new product testing and other product evaluation methods.
- Enhance hydrostatic burst testing, grain analysis, and related product evaluation techniques.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior leadership.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑collaboration skills.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- Rising junior or senior.
- Ability to demonstrate relevant skills and experience required for the role.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective cross‑collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Duration:
Approximately 12 weeks, beginning in late May through August. - Hours:
40 hours per week; flexible start and end dates based on school schedules and business needs. - Compensation:
Paid internship. - Location:
State‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility; requires compliance with PPE guidelines, drug screening, and a physical exam.
