Field Services Engineer

Location:

Camp Pendleton, CA.

Field Services Engineer provides highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, as well as independently.
• Perform on-site installation and maintenance of complex equipment and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment as needed.
• Verify and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
• Interpret customer needs and determine appropriate resolution within sales, support, or engineering.
• Provide field support across hardware, software, PCs, networking and wireless networking.
• Apply learned techniques to analyze and investigate problems, exercising judgment within defined procedures.
• Build productive internal and external working relationships.
• Focus on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports and analyses for review by experienced professionals.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality customer support.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% annually.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Must hold or have previously held a U.S. DoD SECRET Clearance; preference for active clearance.
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; selected applicants may be subject to security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation Range: $79,200 - $99,000.
