Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking a New College Graduate Radio Frequency (RF) Production Support Engineer within the Airborne Radar Electronics Design Hardware Engineering directorate. The RF Production Support Electrical Engineer I will support troubleshooting of RF/Microwave and Antenna hardware in production, hardware integration, test and validation, and documentation.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support for RF/Microwave and Antenna hardware in production environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Integrate hardware components with existing systems and ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct tests, validate performance, and document results for engineering records.
- Collaborate with vendors, peers, and program leadership to resolve technical challenges.
Develop hands‑on expertise diagnosing and resolving RF/Microwave and Antenna hardware issues in a fast‑paced production environment, applying root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action methodologies. Strengthen teamwork and early leadership skills while contributing to the production of next‑generation antenna products.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued DoD Secret clearance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Coursework or project experience involving antenna theory, RF/microwave component design.
- Experience with technical drawings or electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with EE lab equipment (network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
- Familiarity with RF simulation tools such as CST or Ansys HFSS.
- Experience in root‑cause corrective action investigations.
- Knowledge of engineering requirements or test documentation.
- Hardware experience at microwave and millimeter‑wave frequencies and related test equipment.
Salary range: $62,900 – $119,700 USD. Potential eligibility for annual incentive programs based on level and business performance.
