Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of multiple fire protection installation projects, with a focus on clean agent suppression systems, fire sprinklers, and fire alarm systems. This role supports large-scale projects in the data center industry and requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple active job sites, maintain project budgets and schedules, and ensure quality, safety, and code compliance throughout all phases of work.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, ethics, and integrity while working closely with designers, support staff, field teams, manufacturer representatives, and clients. Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours, including demanding schedules during peak project phases, to meet critical deadlines.

Essential Duties
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, commissioning, and closeout for multiple fire protection projects
  • Manage concurrent installation projects across multiple sites, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and internal support teams
  • Oversee installations involving clean agent suppression systems, wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, and fire alarm/detection systems
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
  • Track project budgets, labor hours, materials, and equipment costs; prepare cost estimates and monitor financial performance
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, audits, and testing to verify workmanship, system performance, and compliance requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, architects, and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, manage change orders, and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain project documentation including submittals, as‑built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and closeout materials
  • Identify project risks early and implement effective contingency plans to minimize delays and maintain project momentum
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project teams while promoting strong communication and collaboration across all stakeholders
Requirements / Skills
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with fire suppression systems required
  • Siemens experience preferred
  • Experience managing fire protection projects involving suppression, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, fire protection codes, and installation best practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and job sites simultaneously
  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management software preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and manufacturers
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality assurance, ethics, and integrity in all aspects of project execution
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to and visit multiple job sites as needed
  • Ability to walk active construction sites and perform site inspections
  • Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and demanding schedules during peak project phases
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, and move throughout office and field environments
  • Ability to lift and carry typical jobsite materials or equipment as needed within safe limits
