Location: Hazelwood
Selected candidates will provide numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise. They will create, verify and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled multi‑axis machines required to manufacture aerospace components.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable handling a product line from engineering concept, NC programming, troubleshooting and final execution on the shop floor.
RequirementsPrimary Responsibilities:
- Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Fabrication Team.
- Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metal machining).
- Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
- 12 + years work‑related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of work‑related experience with a Master's Degree OR work‑related experience with a PhD.
- Degree(s) must be in a related field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology.
