We are seeking a highly motivated new college graduate passionate about digital hardware, digital logic design, aerospace systems, radar technologies, and solving complex engineering challenges in multidisciplinary and collaborative teams.
Responsibilities- Circuit analysis, simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and integration, test and verification.
- Develop firmware for FPGA‑based systems.
- Support FPGA prototyping, lab bring‑up, and testing.
- Integrate and test digital components and modules.
- Analyze hardware/firmware test requirements/specifications to determine hardware and firmware requirements.
- Develop solutions to test issues and improve productivity and efficiency.
- Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
- U.S. citizenship (required for clearance).
- Coursework or academic project experience in basic circuit design fundamentals, digital logic design, integrated circuit/microelectronics design, digital signal processing, and FPGA coursework/projects.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages:
Verilog, System Verilog, and/or VHDL. - ABET‑accredited program preferred (though not required) with a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Internship experience in hardware engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects.
- Experience using FPGA development boards or lab equipment.
- Understanding of airborne or ruggedized hardware environments.
- Hands‑on lab/debug experience.
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles and general knowledge of related disciplines.
- Familiarity with industry tools:
Xilinx/AMD Vivado, Intel Quartus, Model Sim or Questa, MATLAB/Simulink. - Exposure to radar systems or digital signal processing, high‑speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, JESD
204, DDR), embedded processors or SoC architecture, Xilinx FPGAs. - Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, DMM.
