The Project Coordinator is a part of our Order Fulfillment Team and is responsible for the commercial components of project execution. The responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include coordinating and leading meetings, compiling proposals, managing the equipment schedule, ensuring project specific documentation is submitted on time, data entry, order management, and project close-out activities.

What does the Project Coordinator do?

The Project Coordinator provides timely and consistent management of project processes while improving workflow efficiency. This includes coordinating processes to avoid LD charges related to the late submittal of documentation, drawings, and equipment delivery. The PC establishes ownership of project requirements, maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty, and proactively identifying and responding to inconsistencies that may occur through the project process.

Customer Responsibilities:
  • Developing an understanding of our project requirements, systems, and process requirements to add value and build customer loyalty.
  • Developing and coordinating documentation submittals, product status updates, shipping releases, and general order management communication.
  • Partnering with factory personnel to meet contractual obligations, driving delivery dates and maintaining the schedule while providing consistent manufacturing status updates to the customer.
  • Identifying, building, and maintaining relationships with our customers' purchasing, expediting, and operations staff.
Experitec and Emerson Process Team and Other Equipment Sub-Supplier Responsibilities:
  • Understanding the processes, tools, systems, and technology to effectively manage order fulfillment, support required schedules and effectively communicate problems and requirements.
  • Communicating requests for quotations, product information, communications, and requirements defined by project team to Account Manager, Inside Sales Engineer, or Sales management.
  • Coordinating and leading internal kick-off meetings with Experitec and Emerson personnel to discuss Request for Quote (RFQ) requirements and aligning on responsibilities.
  • Reviewing purchase orders and developing a schedule of order fulfillment activities, schedules, and processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Assigning tasks to team members to complete the order requirements.
