Simulation Engineer

Job Description

Summary:

Seeking a Simulation Engineer with expertise in vehicle model development, application engineering, and vehicle dynamics.

• 1-2 years experience creating and maintaining vehicle models in Dymola or similar environments
• Proficiency in Simulink, Control Systems, and C++
• BS Degree in a relevant field
• Hands‑on experience in physical testing to characterize vehicle systems

• Experience performing correlation studies with real-world data
• Broad knowledge of modelling and characterization of all vehicle systems (aerodynamics, brakes, suspensions, tires, powertrains)
• Excellent understanding of dynamics of mechanical systems including frequency domain analysis
• Internships in racing/automotive/motorsports

• Develop simulation models for vehicles
• Populate and calibrate vehicle model parameters
• Conduct correlation studies to compare model behaviors with test data
• Perform physical testing on various vehicle systems such as K&C, shaker rigs, damper dynos etc.

$40.00 to $45.00 per hour
