Controls Support Specialist

Job Description

Provides technical assistance over the phone to onsite field technicians and end users of AAON by performing the following duties.

• Answers and solves technical support calls on AAON controls.
• Assists in testing and troubleshooting AAON digital controls.
• Performs job site startup and troubleshooting with field personnel.
• Evaluates the need for escalation to Mechanical Support / Engineering and Controls Engineering.
• Performs administrative duties associated with controls support position.
• Uses Test Bench to assist field technicians with hardware I/O, SOO, and Applications.
• Must be available for after-hours field support during the work week, weekends, and holidays as needed. This is subject to change according to business needs.
• Some travel is expected for this position. This is subject to change according to business needs.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Trade School training is preferred. Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Automation is a plus. HVAC or Electrical training is preferred.

• Lift up to 10 lbs.
• Required to sit, use hands, talk and hear 85% of work hours.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
