Manufacturing Quality Improvement Specialist Professional How you’ll make an impact

You will lead and deploy the global ITM strategy and roadmap to drive operational excellence and establish and govern Continuous Improvement (CI) frameworks, ensuring consistent Lean Six Sigma application across regions.

You will lead high impact CI initiatives delivering measurable business results and ROI, develop organizational capability through the ITM Academy and OMP programs and embed voice of the customer into operations strategy and structured problem solving.

You will manage CI performance frameworks aligned with financial and operational KPIs, collaborate with global and regional Operations leaders to embed CI best practices and align BU initiatives with corporate CI organizations (Moonshine, QCI) and Lighthouse objectives.

You will lead, coach, and develop a team of ITM experts while promoting a strong CI culture, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a culture focused on waste elimination using ITM tools such as 5S, Visual Management, SMED, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, Kaizen, VSM and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

You will promote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization through training, coaching, and best practice sharing, and lead Kaizen events to optimize KPIs around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost and create and manage projects using problem‑solving tools like JDI, A3, 8D, and DMAIC to achieve targets and ensure effective sustainment of results.

You will support digital transformation initiatives aligned with strategic business goals to enhance operational efficiency, optimize and integrate KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost, and lead cost reduction initiatives to align actions with strategic goals and develop continuous improvement capabilities by training and coaching on ITM tools, fostering a coaching culture focused on employee engagement and accountability.

You will lead and manage cost‑out enablers and productivity projects, train team members in RELEX reporting, and collaborate with leadership to prioritize projects for cost reduction and profit improvement and collaborate with the related team to develop and operationalize the Strategy Deployment process, facilitating breakthrough objectives, action plans, KPIs, and Kaizen roadmaps.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.

Required with 10+ years of experience in quality engineering or continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.

Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma Green Belt certification required;
Black Belt certification preferred.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross‑functional improvement projects.

Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry‑specific quality standards.

Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, electronics fabrication).

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
