Chance Maritime Technologies is looking for qualified candidates for the position of a Field Support Engineer in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role consists of operating and maintaining equipment in the emerging market of USVs (Unmanned Surface Vehicles). USVs consist of many mechanical and electrical systems functioning together with software to create a reliable solution for a wide array of maritime applications.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operating, maintaining, and servicing of USVs.
  • Assist in technical support and training for customers.
  • Mobilize, integrate, operate, and demobilize USV projects.
  • Assist in USV design and fabrication, and in the design, fabrication, and servicing of USV auxiliary equipment, payloads, or sensor packages.
  • Perform any other task within your field of expertise as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with USV systems, or 1 year of experience with a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree.
  • Experience in hydrographic survey, robotics, and offshore operations is a plus.
