Our client is seeking a highly skilled and passionate CPU Microarchitect to join their elite team. In this role, the CPU Microarchitect will be responsible for designing and optimizing the microarchitecture of their next-generation CPUs, driving performance, power efficiency, and overall system-level improvements. They will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including architects, designers, and software engineers, to deliver industry‑leading CPU solutions.

• Lead the microarchitecture design and optimization of high-performance CPUs for cutting-edge SoC products.
• Collaborate with architects to define microarchitectural specifications and performance goals.
• Develop innovative microarchitectural features and optimizations to improve performance, power efficiency, and system-level capabilities.
• Conduct performance analysis, modeling, and simulations to evaluate and refine microarchitectural design decisions.
• Work closely with design and verification teams to ensure successful implementation and verification of the microarchitecture.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize CPU performance through compiler and firmware enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, research papers, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in CPU microarchitecture.

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture principles and microarchitecture design techniques.
• Strong expertise in CPU microarchitecture design, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Proficient in using simulation and modeling tools for performance evaluation and analysis.
• Experience with RTL design, verification methodologies, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL).
• Familiarity with software development and optimization techniques for CPUs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Previous experience in CPU microarchitecture design in a leading semiconductor company.
• Familiarity with ARM or MIPS instruction set architectures.
• Knowledge of low-power design techniques and power management.
• Publications or patents related to CPU microarchitecture.
