Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to ensure HV system safety across the development lifecycle in California. You will define and analyze vehicle features, conduct HARA, and develop safety goals for HV components such as the battery, OBC, and DCDC.
You will manage safety requirements, create test cases, and support bench and in-vehicle testing while guiding multiple engineering teams on FS compliance.
