Position: Quality Engineer 4 with Security Clearance

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO. 100% on site. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
* Accredited Engineering Degree.

* At Least 10 years' Experience as a Quality Engineer.

* Regular and predictable attendance is required. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The Support Equipment Systems Engineering & Integration team is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our organization. The primary focus of this position will be cross functional collaboration enabling early detection of hardware quality issues along with identification and implementation of root causes and corrective actions that will improve the overall ability of the Support Equipment organization to deliver on customer commitments.

This position is located in Hazelwood, MO. Support Equipment products include support products used during manufacturing, on the platform, and off the platform. Products used during manufacturing include non-destructive test products and production line automated test equipment with associated test program sets. Products used on the platform include operational and handling equipment such as dollies, hoists, lifts, slings, tugs and generators.

It also includes structural repair kits, composite repair kits as well as various test and diagnostic flight line testers. Products used off the platform include automated test equipment with associated test program sets. Both On Platform and Off Platform Support Equipment products may be designed to support Client or non-Client vehicles, whether air, ground or marine in use. The Support Equipment product portfolio includes more than 5,000 unique deliverables for customers including Government, Commercial, International and internal entities.

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE) 10+years' Experience as Quality Engineer in Aerospace, 5 years' experience working with DCMA

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift 35 lbs., ability to move safely through a warehouse while inspecting equipment received from suppliers. REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
