Position Type: Onsite
Security Clearance: Secret; requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
We are looking for an individual who can effectively work with our team of experts within the Airborne Radar Electronics Receiver / Exciter Hardware Design Group.
Responsibilities- Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design, documentation, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.
- Work as part of a team designing Special Test Equipment (STE) hardware and software for testing Microwave RF circuits, Radio Frequency Assemblies (RFAs), Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs), Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and production support.
- Analyze hardware specifications to determine hardware requirements.
- Develop solutions to test issues and enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (e.g., Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters).
- Experience with design software such as Keysight ADS, Sonnet EM, Ansys HFSS, AutoCAD or comparable.
- Experience with software tools including C, C++, Lab Windows CVI, and MATLAB.
- Courses taken include RF and Microwave Circuit Design.
