Senior Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of CNC machine tools.
Senior Field Service Engineer / CNC Service Engineer responsibilities:- Meet customers across the US to service, install, repair and maintain a range of advanced CNC machine tools.
- Deliver after-sales technical support by training customers, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and upgrading CNC machinery and related systems.
- Coordinate and execute installation, maintenance, and enhancement tasks, while investigating and resolving customer-reported technical issues to minimize future downtime.
- Analyze technical information to identify root causes, implement repairs or improvements, and relay findings to senior management.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
- Prior experience servicing and maintaining CNC machine tools.
- Strong knowledge of CNC control systems (Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc) and previous experience with PLC’s and drives.
- Willingness to travel to meet customers across the US when required.
