Manufacturing Engineer
, withexpertisein airplane structures, productionreadinessand composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of thestand-upof a composite fabrication center withintheBDS Fabrication organization.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes forair vehicle structures withcompositefabricationparts

• Ensure production readiness byidentifyingand mitigating risks,optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency

• Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuringtimelydelivery of products to our customers

• Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Participate in design reviews andprovideinput on manufacturability and assembly considerations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate willbe required to workonsiteat one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

• 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience)

• 1+ years ofexperienceincompositesfabrication

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering

• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

• Experience with 3D model-based instruction

• Experience with any of the following:
  Siemens NX, IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold,PrimeR, Aurora,VisVSA, DELMIA,

• Experience with
  
  VisMockup,Pro Model,Flex Sim, 3D Printed Parts, Maker Space,ImDev, ICIDO, Multi
  - Monitor Collaborative Rooms, rapidprototypingor manufacturing

• Experience leading Full Size Determinant Assembly (FSDA) development/deployment activity

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systemscommonimage (MESci)

• Experience reviewing and approving other engineers' work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)
