Lighting Controls Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Configure systems based on intent and sequence of operations per specifications
• Troubleshoot systems and related lighting components as necessary
• Warranty, Service Calls, Inside Sales Support
• Coordinate and perform Training Sessions with End-Users for project completion
• Manage job-site reporting in coordination with Field Services Scheduler
• Continuous Improvement and Professional Development

• Associate’s degree or Technical College program completion in a related field
• Lighting Software Experience
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to Read and Understand Electrical Plans
• Excellent organizational skills and effective communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and manage workload to meet project deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as interact effectively with others
• Ability to Adapt ‘on-the-fly’ to unexpected changes on projects
• Lighting Experience preferred
• Low-voltage, digital, and Network Communication Systems Experience
• Understanding of wireless protocols (BLE 802.15.1, Zigbee 802.15.4, Wi-Fi 802.11) helpful but not required
• Willingness to travel as required – training class trips, 2-3 times per year for up to 4 days at a time
