Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of GNC and Avionics engineers
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of flight systems, from preliminary design to flight operations
- Manage flight system development schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure milestones are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including structures, propulsion, and software, to ensure system integration
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role
- Strong understanding of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) and/or Avionics systems
- Ability to manage 6+ direct reports
- Current Clearance TS/SCI or ability to hold TS/SCI
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred)
- Direct experience with reentry and/or hypersonic vehicle systems (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex aerospace projects (preferred)
