- Design and Release Engineering for frames, mounts, spare tire winches, and/or tow hooks through forward-model development, release, and launch
- Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Perfect Drawing Plan, and Engineering Specifications to deliver robust designs and avoid failure modes
- Lead overall design to meet package, crash, durability, commercial upfitting, and thermal management vehicle attributes
- Lead, review, and approve frame structure designs against component engineering specifications and vehicle requirements
- Resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues
- Coach, technically mentor, and guide peer engineers through Technical Club forums
- Deliver material cost reduction, warranty reduction, and benchmarking initiatives
- 3 years of experience in frames or structures Design and Release
- CAD capability with CATIA and 3DX
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work with cross-functional groups
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
Demonstrates expertise in Design and Release Engineering for frames and structures, utilizing CAD tools like CATIA and 3DX to deliver robust designs while leading cross-functional teams and mentoring peers.
