Garver seeks a Municipal Project Manager to join our Transportation Team in Overland Park, KS or Kansas City, MO to continue providing reputable service and contributing to our award‑winning culture.

• Project management
• Sub‑consultant coordination
• Project/task scheduling
• Civil design
• Plan production oversight
• Preparing cost estimates
• Quality control
• Training other engineers
• Client relationship building
• Technical experience should include:
• Geometric design for roadways/intersections
• 3D design experience
• Drainage design
• Construction sequencing and traffic control
• Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Missouri and Kansas, or ability to obtain reciprocity
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
• Practical working knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, and MUTCD
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, Open Roads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office

• Previous experience in consulting engineering with a focus on Kansas City Metro and/or Missouri municipal clients
• 3D design experience
• Utility relocation coordination experience
